I am writing this introduction so that you may know my background, how I came into this knowledge and why I was chosen for this journey.

I am Thomas Elbert Whitson II, oldest son of my father, Elbert, and mother Ruth. I came into this world on September 20th 1935, in Birmingham, Alabama. I have one younger sibling, a brother named Charles.

My father was a military man, an officer in the US Army air corps. During the Second World War our family lived in temporary housing in eight different states. My primary education was as varied as the locations we lived in.

My secondary education was in Birmingham and was non-eventful. I did not excel or fail in any subject nor in athletics. Although I did play football for one season in high school, I did not letter.

I graduated from Marion Military Institute, a prep school for non-excelling students. The cliche was “MMI was where you were sent when your parents could not get you into reformatory.”

In my last week at MMI I was involved in a single vehicle, high speed automobile accident. I was a passenger, asleep on the rear seat. We had been drinking.

I was hospitalized for three months with a shattered left femur and lower back damage. I was in a full body cast for the following four months. Although I can walk without assistance, my left knee and back give me considerable daily pain. It is interesting how a single, short moment of indiscretion can so dramatically affect the rest of your life.

Experience is truly the best teacher; but, learning from someone else’s experience is easier, cheaper and less stressful.

During college I promised myself that following graduation I would read the Bible and determine if the information it contained could enhance my life style. It was strictly a self-interest speculation.

One Sunday morning, in nineteen fifty nine, I heard a radio preacher make a statement that within fifteen years there would be a one-world religion. I did not usually listen to such tripe; but, the statement was so outlandish that I was intrigued. Later I learned that he was wrong; but, only in his timing. The fifteen years have stretched into more than seven decades, but the prophesy will still be fulfilled.

Shortly after this, I moved my family to Southern California where I worked for and attended a small religious college. The education I received was extremely valuable as it challenged everything I had been taught by convential religious institutions.

Through long hours of self study, I learned that the Bible was truth wrapped in a black leather cover. That the world of established religiosity has been systematically deceived. That there really is a malevolent conspiracy to hide truth and the pathway to salvation. That the wide majority of dwellers on planet earth are in for a very rude and tragic awakening. That the way to life is strait and narrow and very few find it.

How did I learn all of this and why was I chosen? (I Cor 1:25-29)

You, too, can be given this knowledge, learn the keys to bibical understanding; but, only if you are willing to make the sacrifice. (Mat 5:6)

My goal, for this blog and website, is to help you understand the history of this deception, show you the gold fired by fire, provide you with white clothing, and give you eye salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see. (Rev 3:17-18)
